These electroformed raw black tourmaline earrings are the perfect compliment to any outfit and can easily be dressed up or down. They are made with small, raw pieces of black tourmaline and paired with copper that has been hand aged to a beautiful patina and coated with a durable clear coating to protect the finish. Mounted on hypoallergenic titanium posts and fully nickel free, these earrings are safe for those with sensitive ears.
Please note that this is a mineral in raw form so the pairs won't match perfectly and the stones may have slight imperfections, which I love! I choose the minerals I work with based on, not just their beauty, but also the energy that I feel from them. I am often drawn to imperfect specimens and I love how the electroforming process takes these imperfections and turns them into something beautiful. I see it as metaphor for life...and they remind me to choose to see the beauty in everything.
Black tourmaline is a very powerful "guard dog" stone. It transmutes and reverses negative energy, turning it to positive, on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels.
