These electroformed raw carnelian earrings are the perfect compliment to any outfit and can easily be dressed up or down. They are made with small, raw pieces of carnelian and paired with copper that has been hand aged to a beautiful patina and coated with a durable clear coating to protect the finish. Mounted on hypoallergenic titanium posts and fully nickel free, these earrings are safe for those with sensitive ears.
Please note that this is a mineral in raw form so the pairs won't match perfectly and the stones may have slight imperfections, which I love! I choose the minerals I work with based on, not just their beauty, but also the energy that I feel from them. I am often drawn to imperfect specimens and I love how the electroforming process takes these imperfections and turns them into something beautiful. I see it as metaphor for life...and they remind me to choose to see the beauty in everything.
