This very large raw clear quartz point has been paired with a flashy rainbow moonstone cabochon and electroformed in pure copper. I then hand aged it to the perfect finish and paired it with a 16" aged copper chain with a 3" extender. Length can be changed, though I don't recommend it for this necklace. Since it is so large it is best for it to sit near the heart and not be put on a long chain that would allow it to swing. The clear quartz point I chose for this design is filled with rainbows. You can see them dancing inside from many angles. Please check out all the pictures to see the amazing detail in this necklace! The rainbow moonstone is half of a cab that broke. Inspired by the Japanese art known as Kintsugi, I incorporated both of the pieces into two similar designs in this collection. Kintsugi is the art of repairing broken pottery with gold. The idea is to take something that was broken and make it into something that is even more precious and beautiful. This sentiment goes perfectly with my inspiration for this collection.
Clear Quartz points have been used as powerful healers and energy amplifiers for centuries. They raise and focus the energy of their surroundings, the intentions of the wearer and stones they are paired with.
Rainbow moonstone is the most powerful of the moonstones. It aligns and activates all the chakras, but is most strongly associated with the crown chakra. It is said to embody the feminine and goddess energies of the waxing and full moons bringing the wearer vitality, life force and joy. It is also emotionally balancing, bringing strength, optimism and self-appreciation.
