The lines of crystals are so elegantly simple, but are sometimes overlooked or treated as secondary. I wanted to design something that focused on shape as opposed to the actual material. I encased a raw clear quartz point, aged and sanded the edges to bring out the lines. I paired it with a 30" chain made of aged copper and amazonite beads. This necklace helps you harness the energy of both amazonite and clear quartz making it a very powerful piece for working with the heart and throat chakras.
Clear Quartz points have been used as powerful healers and energy amplifiers for centuries. They raise and focus the energy of their surroundings, the intentions of the wearer and stones they are paired with. My intention with this necklace was to fill it with my loving and creative energy before working with it and encasing it in copper. Copper is a very good conductor and believed to enhance the properties of minerals it is paired with. Amazonite is a very powerful heart and throat chakra stone, so my intention with this piece was to have it help the wearer in all aspects of life that require speaking truth from the heart in a loving and calm way.
Called the Stone of Courage and the Stone of Truth, amazonite empowers one to search the self and discover one’s own truths and integrity, and to move beyond fear of judgment or confrontation with others to live in alignment with those beliefs and values. It provides the freedom to express one’s thoughts and feelings, and to set strong and clear boundaries, both internally as self-discipline, and externally on what one is willing to experience or in defining personal space. As a metaphysical healer, Amazonite soothes the chakras and aligns the physical body to the etheric. It is particularly rejuvenating to the Heart and Throat Chakras, enhancing loving communication on all levels. It balances one’s masculine/feminine energies as well as many aspects of the personality. It awakens compassion for others by allowing one to perceive both sides of a problem and accepting differing points of view.
