This simple statement necklace features a teardrop shaped dendritic opal cabochon that has been electroformed in pure copper and hand aged to a warm patina. It was handcrafted with a simple setting to show off the stunning stone, which reminds me of looking through a frosty window on a cold winter night with the moon lighting up the snowy landscape. It is mean to be worn just above or near the heart and comes on a 16" aged copper chain with a 2" extender, so that it works with any outfit you wear and layers perfectly with other necklaces.
Dendritic opal gets its name from the dendrites, or tree-like inclusions, found within the milky opal that forms the main part of this stone.
