This necklace is made with a cruelty-free dark gray cockatiel feather that has been electroformed in pure copper and hand aged to a beautiful patina. I leave the front of the feather partially exposed to allow the natural color to come through. This simple necklace is perfect alone or layered with other necklaces. There are two to choose from. Please view the pictures to see the slight variations in each feather.
This style comes standard on a 30" aged copper rolo chain with 2” extender, but the chain can be changed to a 32" beaded larvikite accent chain if you'd prefer. See the last picture for chain close ups. If you’d prefer a different length please specify in a note at checkout or reply to your order confirmation email with your request. All feathers that I use are cruelty-free and comply with all laws pertaining to the US MBTA and the Endangered Species Act. The macaw feathers come from yellow and gold macaws that have been living with their families long term and are well kept and treated with respect and kindness. I take the time to get to know the living situations of these animals as it is very important to me personally.
