Raw garnets have imperfections, which I love! I choose the minerals I work with based on, not just their beauty, but also the energy that I feel from them. I am often drawn to imperfect specimens and I love how the electroforming process takes these imperfections and turns them into something beautiful. I see it as metaphor for life...and they remind me to choose to see the beauty in everything.
