This gorgeous and powerful Black Moon Lilith necklace is made with hypersthene, sometimes also called velvet labradorite, though it isn't actually labradorite. It features a hand sculpted snake and a sparkling piece of clear quartz druzy. This necklace is meant to support you as you dive deep within to parts labeled "wrong" that have been neglected and buried in order to recover them and integrate them fully into your life.
Snakes historically represent creative life force energy, transformation and change. Periodically shedding their skin, they are also symbols of rebirth and immortality. There are versions of the Garden of Eden myth with the snake being Lilith in disguise, visiting her sister, Eve.
Black Moon Lilith represents a person's primitive impulses and behaviors in their rawest forms and expresses the dark side of one's personality, buried deep in the subconscious. Please know that "dark side" does not mean "bad". I see dark and light as equally valuable and necessary and I choose to honor both sides in my life and on my journey. It pairs perfectly with hypersthene, which is thought to aid in bringing the shadow side to awareness in order to aid in emotional healing through understanding and acceptance of these often rejected parts.
This powerful necklace has been encased in copper and hand aged to a beautiful patina. It has a beautiful velvet looking luminescence to it, though I found it quite difficult to capture in photographs. Please note that hypersthene has light etch marks on the surface so when you receive it don’t be concerned that it was scratched. This is it’s natural appearance. It comes on a 16" aged copper chain with a 2" extender, to add versatility to the design. The length of the necklace can be changed. Please include a note at checkout or reply immediately to your order confirmation email to request a different length.
