This unique and one of a kind creation brings quiet reflection and protective energy to any space. Created to be as powerful as it is beautiful, this Scrying Mirror invites you into the realm of intuition and inner guidance and encourages you to practice strengthening your ability to look within.
This mirror is made to be freestanding and features a 4.25" mirror with a swirling crescent moon on the surface. It has an area to set a small candle and is edged in pyrite and gilded in gengine 18 karat gold. Left to right, there are three gorgeous crystal specimens... a tall smoky quartz point from Brazil, a chunky specimen of octahedral pyrite peppered with black/silver gray Sphalerite and a small smoky citrine point. The back is also gilded with leafing made from 18k gold that has been slightly distressed.
This design was created with polymer clay, alcohol ink, minerals from the earth a little bit of magic and a whole lot of love! This design comes with a tea light and can be used with or without the candle placed near by.
Smoky Quartz is a very grounding and protective stone that not only removes negativity and negative energy, it transforms it into positive energy.
Pyrite is an earth element that resonates with the fire energy symbolizing the warmth and lasting presence of the sun. It is masculine in nature; a stone of action, vitality and will and allows the wearer to tap into their abilities and potential, stimulating the flow of ideas. It brings confidence and persistence to carry things through. These qualities combine and translate into an enhanced ability to generate wealth by one’s own power.
Citrine is known as the success stone and has traditionally been used as a powerful stone of manifestation. It promotes generosity, which helps ensure that prosperity and success is shared. Citrine is also especially helpful in meditations that are aimed at attracting abundance. It activates the third eye, which stimulates imagination, creativity and mental clarity. These are especially helpful in attracting abundance when followed up with actions meant to bring about what your imagination has sparked in you.
Scrying is a type of divination that has been practiced throughout the ages in cultures throughout the world. Items such as crystal balls, mirrors and other reflective surfaces such as water or obsidian are commonly used. I believe that being called to this technique is very personal with the way to practice being varied depending on the person. There is no right or wrong. From my perspective the most important and helpful thing is to use this technique as a way to strengthen your connection to your intuition an inner guidance.
I personally, like to use a scrying portal with a candle while I meditate with eyes open. It helps me to soften my gaze and my grip on my day to day life just enough to allow guidance to emerge. I sit for however long feels right and then quickly write down anything that comes through so that I can refer to it later. Often the picture doesn't come in to view immediately, but with time themes and messages that support my growth emerge.
