Collection: The Messengers

As I go about my days, words I need to hear often land on my heart. Words of significance. Words of encouragement. Words of support and strength. They are felt in my heart before traveling to my head where I make sense of them. These words usually address something I'm going through and they always come right when needed.

I've learned throughout the years that if I'm going through something, others are, too. If I need to hear certain words. Others do, too. Feeling like you're the only one with certain struggles, challenges, hopes, dreams and fears adds unneeded weight to these universal human concerns.

I share these words as a gesture of support – a hand in the dark reaching out to yours letting you know you're not alone.

This section of Amy Kae Atelier is a landing place for the creations that come from these words I receive.

My process is simple...a word or phrase will come to me, I'll hand stamp it onto copper and set it aside. I may know immediately what type of piece I'll make with it or it may take some time for inspiration to strike. Either way, the designs I've created through this process hold a distinctly supportive energy that I feel and many have told me they feel, as well.
